Prescott College Parents
Supporting Field Studies Scholarship Store

http://pcparentclothing.kintera.org

All clothing proceeds will benefit the Prescott College Parents Supporting Field Studies Sholarship. This Scholarship was established to provide more field study opportunities for needy Prescott College students. Many Prescott College courses have strong field components and some are conducted entirely in the field. Students are encouraged to study and live in cultural contexts outside their normal experience in order to gain meaningful experiences about the world through interacting with it. Many field studies courses are fully immersive and conducted entirely in the field, taking students to Africa, Europe, Central and South America, the Caribbean, and throughout the Southwest and the world to engage in research and hands-on learning experiences, deliberately blurring the line between college as preparation for life and life itself. The Prescott College Parents Supporting Field Studies Scholarship (minimum of $250) will be awarded each spring to students who demonstrate above average educational ability, but whom lack the funding to take summer field study classes exceeding fees of $500.

A note regarding transcripts:

By federal law, evaluations and transcripts are confidential and are the property of the student. The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) states that schools must have written consent from the student in order to release any academic records to parents. Please keep in mind that college officials can not give out any confidential information on student records without a signed FERPA waiver on file.
